Can Mustapha be a McDonald’s All-American?

Can Mustapha be a McDonald’s All-American?

Posted Wednesday, January 13th, 2016

Last week the McDonald’s All-American Game announced their 2016 nominees and while the list was fairly controversial in New England the reality is that most of the region’s best weren’t eligible for the game because of rules prohibiting 5th year players. While New England’s 15 nominees included four players ranked among the top 100 in the national class of 2016, the other reality is that since only 24 ultimately call themselves McDonald’s All-Americans, there is really only one player in… READ MORE >

Brooks to Bryant

Good things come to those who wait. For Bryant, head coach Tim O'Shea and his staff had been searching for a point guard to replace Shane McLaughlin, a three year starter and the reinging NEC Player of the Week. For Ikenna Ndugba, he watched as many of his positional peers committed to division I schools this fall, but remained patient and continued to work hard and lead a young Brooks team. Recruiting Round-Up

Posted Thursday, January 7th, 2016

It’s almost ironic that once the season starts, recruiting tends to settle down a little bit. The headlines and updates don’t happen nearly as often as high school and college teams alike are consumed by their own schedule. This typically lasts for another month or two, until the time when some teams start to shift their focus to next season. . That isn’t to say there haven’t been any updates on the recruiting wire though. In addition to the commitments… READ MORE >
