ZG Tip-Off - Tournament Preview
One of the largest travel basketball organizations in the country kicks off their fall circuit this weekend. Zero Gravity will invade eastern Massachusetts for the Zero Gravity Championship Tip-Off Tournament. The event is the first on their Path to The Belt Fall Circuit that concludes October 28-29 with the Battle for the Belt. With powerful programs such as New England Playaz, eXpressions Elite, Boston Bobcats, Central Mass Swarm, Mass Elite, Rise Above, Evolution, Mass Rivals, Rhode Island Magic, Worcester Team United, C4, New England Storm, South Shore Wolfpack, & Mass Select participating, it should be an exciting start to the fall season.
With hundreds of players competing, breakout stars are sure to emerge. Although the fall travel season does not bring in college coaches like the spring and summer seasons do, recent history has shown it to be a preview of things to come.
Last fall it was players like Carl Pierre, Nick Timberlake, Brycen Goodine, Quest Harris, and Daman Tate who were among the biggest stars. Not surprisingly, they all went on to bring their recruitment to new levels in subsequent months.
The ZG fall circuit also allows NERR to see players who have stood out at the the Elite 75 Frosh/Soph in a game setting and serves the final impression before we release our rankings in 2020 and 2021.
The New England Recruiting Report will be on hand each and every weekend this fall as the Zero Gravity fall circuit annually attracts some of the best teams in the northeast. Weekly coverage will include previews, on-site social media updates, and weekend recaps, the first of which will be live on Monday morning!
