Zero Gravity Prep Classic - Friday Blog
NERR scout Jared Exler was on hand at Dana Barros Basketball Club in Stoughton, MA for the Zero Gravity Prep Classic.
In case you missed any of the action, here is a rundown from him on some of the Friday standouts.
2023 @NewHorizonMBB forward Augustas Brazdeikis is a legitimate floor spacing threat, can put the ball down in straight lines, and make heady cuts when opponents overplay him. pic.twitter.com/TeFEhbcQX3

2023 @PSAhoops SG Thierry Lokrou is difficult to keep out of the lane with his burst, has a propensity for drawing contact on layup attempts, and length getting his hands on balls in passing lanes for steals. pic.twitter.com/Y54mVxOrlj

Intrigued by 2023 @FortErieMBB big man Alphonse Muteba. He has feel moving without the ball, explosiveness for play-finishing, and soft hands pulling down rebounds. pic.twitter.com/iya9XnOSLA

2023 @StThomasMoreBB guard Jackson McEachern impressed last game set. He has a college ready body, can hit three-pointers on spot-up/step-back attempts, while also getting to the rim well with his creative handle. pic.twitter.com/OTypv3Z5tG

2026 @CATSBoston & @ExpressionsBall guard Desmond Bellot was terrific last game set. He regularly got paint touches with his change of pace, finished high arching finger-rolls over bigger defenders, and found teammates for multiple drop-off layups. Dropped 28 points in the win. pic.twitter.com/FNDNuC0dGP

2023 @dxsf_bbball & @MiddlesexMagic SG Andrew Mitchell impressed me last game set. He is a long-range threat on pull-up/spot-up attempts, has comfort finishing layups through contact, while also bringing versatility defensively with his length/lateral quickness. pic.twitter.com/fxRHT4JSot

2024 @MA_Athletics & @MiddlesexMagic big man CJ Happy’s activity in the post caught my eye last game set. He uses his well-built frame to seal off defenders, has footwork/touch to score in different ways, while also regularly making good decisions as a passer. pic.twitter.com/PHKj6n9APO

Took note of 2025 @GovsBasketball & @RivalsNation wing Mukisa Mubiru-Nkugwa’s athletic ability. He has burst to blow by defenders, bounce for above the rim finishing, and foot speed to guard smaller opponents. pic.twitter.com/El5rgcOU6Q

Look forward to tracking 2025 @RiversAthletics & @MiddlesexMagic wing Ryan Altman. He hits treys at a solid rate off the catch, knows the right times when to make sharp cuts, while also having good reflexes jumping into passing lanes for steals. pic.twitter.com/de6wcVOImR

Liked what I saw from Mantas Zilys last game set. The 2024 southpaw shooting guard from @VermontAcadHoop can hit mid-range shots on pull-up/step-back attempts or finish layups when creating space with a spin move. pic.twitter.com/KnoAproQD7
