Woodstock’s Rodriguez SEC Bound
Woodstock Academy post-graduate Luis Rodriguez signed a National Letter of Intent with Ole Miss on Friday after officially visiting their campus earlier in the week.
Rodriguez was arguably the final high profile prospect left on the board in New England's class of 2018.
The California native averaged 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists per game this year while helping to make Woodstock one of the top prep schools programs in the country in just their first season in the post-graduate ranks.
Rodriguez announced the news via his twitter account.

“Luis is a very tough, physical, competitive athlete that played on an outstanding prep team at Woodstock,” said new Ole Miss head coach Kermit Davis. “His versatility offensively and defensively fits extremely well with our style of play on both ends. He’s a person with high character, and we’re really excited for Luis to join Ole Miss Basketball.”
Rodrigues becomes the 15th member of Woodstock Academy's 2018 class to commit to a four-year college and 10th to commit to a division I or II school, equating to over $750,000 in free tuition.
