Williston’s Lexander D1 Bound
Williston Northampton School post-graduate Duncan Lexander made a verbal commitment to Charleston Southern University on Tuesday evening.
This is Lexander's second year at the western Massachusetts prep school. He initially committed to Presbyterian in the class of 2017 but opted to re-open his recruitment and return to Williston Northampton for his post-graduate year following a spring coaching change.
Charleston Southern, like Presbyterian, is located in South Carolina which will bring Lexander back closer to his home in North Carolina.
The 6-foot-8 forward is a rangy athlete with developing skill facing the basket and potential to stretch opposing defenses down the road.
He was named honorable mention All-New England in Class A last season and is expected to be one of the better players returning to the league this season.
