Vermont’s Huber Makes His Pick

Vermont Academy post-graduate David Huber is headed to Carnegie Mellon University next year.

Carnegie Mellon is located in Pittsburgh and consistently ranked among the top 25 universities in the country by US News and World Report. Athletically, they compete in the prestigious UAA conference.

Huber is a six-foot-three shooting guard who specializes in three-point shooting. He came off the bench and provided key leadership for a Vermont Academy team that went 27-5 this season and caputured the school's first NEPSAC AA championship.

Prior to arriving at Vermont Academy, Huber was a four year starter at Hampton High School in Pennsylvania where he scored over 1,000 points, was a two-time All-Section honoree and finished his high school career having won more games than any other player in Hampton history.

He was widely pursued by a variety of top academic colleges and universities before making his commitment to Carnegie Mellon official following his recept acceptance to the university.
