Vaughan Going D1

Notre Dame Prep 2014 shooting guard C.J. Vaughn committed to Morgan State earlier this week.

One of the best three-point shooters in all of New England this year, Vaughn is virtually automatic when able to set his feet and also has incredibly deep range.  He was one part of a dynamic three guard rotation that the Crusaders relied on all year long.

Morgan State is an NCAA division I school in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference who has advanced to 6 MEAC finals in the last 8 years under head coach Todd Bozeman.

Vaughn will be one of six freshman to the Bears next year as they'll look to reload after graduating nearly half their team from the recent 2013-2014 season.

Prior to arriving at Notre Dame Prep, Vaughn previously starred at Oswego East High School in Illinois where he scored over 1,000 career points.

The son of former UConn assistant coach Clyde Vaughan, C.J. has also spent time in England and is a part of member of their junior national team.
