Vann Earns Second Offer
Bunnell High School senior swingman Isaac Vann earned a scholarship offer on Sunday from Canisius according to USAD head coach Troy Bradford.
The MAAC school becomes the second program to offer Vann, joining Sacred Heart, who also offered Vann’s USAD running mate, incoming South Kent point guard Schadrac Casimir.
Vann’s summer began at the New England Elite 75 Showcase, where his long and smooth floor game was on full display.
It was off to the Hoop Group Elite Camp for the opening of the evaluation period, where he picked up the Sacred Heart offer. Later that week Vann scored 33 points in the championship of the BasketBull Summer Championships to lead USAD for the title.
He led USAD to consecutive quarterfinal appearances in subsequent weeks at both the Hall of Fame National Invitational as well as Live in A.C.
Next season, he promises to be one of the top players in the CIAC and will look to get Bunnell over the hump after they fell in the semifinals of last year’s state tournament.
