URI Adds a Wing
URI has added another player to their incoming 2011 recruiting class, landing North Carolina native Rayvon Harris. The six-foot-five small forward comes from Flora MacDonald Academy and picked Rhody over offers from two other Atlantic 10 programs.
Harris averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals during his senior year and is known as a powerful and deceptively athletic player who can play a variety of positions.
He is the fifth player in URI's 2011 class joining point guard Michael Powell Jr., combo-guard T.J. Buchanan, small forward Trahson Burrell, and face-up four-man Jonathan Holton.
