Recommendations

"I have had the pleasure to coach Nick on the North Kingstown Boys Basketball Team for the last three years. His teammates think so highly of him they elected him captain for his senior year. He is a three-year varsity starter and the second leading scorer on the 2019-2020 team. A shooting guard, that can shoot the three and get to the rim. Also, Nick possesses the skills to play point guard if needed. Nick possess rare athletic ability; a vertical jump over 34 inches and is extremely quick on defense because of his excellent lateral agility.  Nick was the fastest player on the team, showcasing his ability on the fast breaks. He is an ideal fit for any team looking for a guard with position flexibility. Nick was a pivotal player on the 2018-2019 Rhode Island State Championship team because of his unselfish play."
- Aaron Thomas, Head Coach, North Kingston High School

"Nick’s is an athletic guard that can play on and off the ball. He is an excellent shooter with a quick release and is able to shoot off the pass and dribble very well.  He has a quick first step which allows him to get by defenders and he gets to the rim and finishes well with both hands. One of his greatest strengths is his on the ball defense. He is a tenacious defender who torments other PGs, often leading to turnovers, deflections and poor passes. Because of his athleticism and defensive instincts, he frequently turns defense into offense. Nick is extremely hard working, has tremendous character and is a strong competitor, which has allowed him to excel during his high school and AAU careers. He is a proven winner and will no doubt continue to improve because of his work ethic and skills. He would be a tremendous asset to any program."

Scouting Report

Sacchetti is a well-rounded guard whose versatile tools project to the college level. Athletically, he'll have no problem holding his own at the next level with solid speed and deceptive leaping ability. He not only shoots the ball well from the perimeter but has good lift and a high release, is able to make shots on the move, and has a solid pull-up game to match. He's crafty off the dribble as well as at the rim with his lay-up making package and throws the ball ahead in transition reliably. Defensively, he's a high-energy guy who can make plays and lock-up opposing scorers.
