UCLA Lands Big Mac!
The top ranked prospect in New England's 2021 class came off the board on Monday when Brewster Academy and PSA Cardinals big man Mac Etienne committed to UCLA.
"I thought it was the best fit for me, not only basketball-wise but academically. They are always one of the best public schools in the nation. That was very important to me and my family, making sure I'm not only getting a good basketball experience but also a good degree," Etienne sai. "I've developed a good relationship with Coach Cronin and Coach Savino. I love everything they are doing and the way they are trending. I just want to be part of that experience and help bring some championships back to Westwood."
Etienne becomes the 12th member of the PSA Cardinals 2021 class to commit to a D1 school and the fifth member of Brewster's class to do so so far.
One of the most physically imposing prospects in the country, Etienne is long with a strong frame, good size, a high energy level.
He's spent his entire grassroots career with the PSA Cardinals and previously attended Suffield Academy.
