Two More Prep Tournaments on Tap
While the 2011 National Prep Showcase once again welcomed the very best post-graduate programs from across the country, last week’s event was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to prep showcases in New England.
This weekend, Hoop Mountain will return to Marianapolis Prep in Connecticut for their sixth annual Hoop Mountain Prep Classic. The four day event will tip-off on Thursday, December 4th and run through the day on Sunday. In total the event will feature 25 teams and 25 games of action.
New England programs including Notre Dame Prep, South Kent, Bridgton Academy, Cushing Academy, Marianapolis Prep, Lee Academy, Putnam Science Academy, Worcester Academy, Vermont Academy, Brimmer & May, Proctor Academy, Tilton School, and Salisbury School will all be in action while the visiting contingent includes the likes of REDA, IMG Academy, CJEOTO, Nia, Mack Prep, and more.

The third and final leg of the prep showcase tour takes place a week later, when the Scholar Roundball Classic returns to Babson College on Saturday, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th.
The field for the second annual event is loaded with some of the premier academic programs in the northeast including Phillips Exeter Academy, Phillips Academy of Andover, Choate Rosemary Hall, Blair Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon, Milton Academy, Tabor Academy, Suffield Academy, St. Andrew’s School, Cushing Academy, Rivers School, Kent School, Kimball Union Academy, and many more.
