Trigger Burke Tip-Off - Event Recap

This past weekend, the BABC held the annual George “Trigger” Burke Tipoff tournament in Boston. The BABC FR. Gold team finished the weekend 3-0 with victories over the Boston Warriors (67-33), GT Elite (54-42), and a pesky Maine MAC team (66-58). Playing well for the freshmen was Shandon Brown and Cole Swider, among others. The BABC Sophomores also went 3-0 on the weekend with victories over the South Shore Wolfpack (61-51), Middlesex Magic Sophomores (57-35), and the Middlesex Magic Juniors (43-41) in a hotly contested game. In that game, the Middlesex Magic Juniors were led by Harry O'matNeil (16pts) and Matt DeWolf (10pts). BABC was led by big man Garrett Stephenson (17pts) and mainstay Jakigh Dottin (11pts). Sharing the title of “Co-Champions” with the Sophomores was the BABC Juniors who came out of the weekend with a 3-0 mark as well. The Juniors tallied victories against Middlesex Magic Giordano (97-68), USAD (79-48), and Middlesex Magic Crotty (73-44). Playing well for BABC was Bruce Brown who tallied 50pts over three games, Terrell Brown who tallied 42pts for the weekend, and Tommy Mobley who had 31pts for the weekend on a blistering 9-10 from three point land. The Magic were led throughout by Harry ONeil, Matt Donahue, Nick Seretta, Brandon Twitty and Matt DeWolf. Below is a full list of all scores:
