Tilton’s Kirciman D1 Bound
Tilton unsigned senior Cem Kirciman announced a late commitment to Wisconsin Green Bay on Saturday night, earning a full athletic scholarship from the D1 level.
Kirciman is the first player to commit to new head coach Will Ryan, the son of longtime Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan.
Kirciman announced his decision via social media.
A native of Turkey who played for the u16 national team during the 2017 FIBA championships, Kirciman has spent the last two years in the New England prep ranks but missed some time with injury this past season.
The 6-foot-7 forward is an outstanding ball-handler and passer for his size. He can take the ball off the glass to start the break or provide a frontcourt facilitator off the elbows. He's also extremely crafty inside the lane with his footwork and finishing maneuvers.
He joins Jalen Leach (Fairfield) and Kevin Constant (Le Moyne) to become the third member of Tilton's 2020 class to accept a full scholarship for basketball.
