Super 16 Showcase Two Weeks Away
In two weeks the New England Recruiting Report will host our second annual Memorial Day event. Last year’s inaugural event featured a small but selective group of teams from throughout the northeastern region. This year’s event will do that and more, combining with the prestigious Super 16 Showcase (previously held during the month of July) to host an abundance of depth and talent into the region.
The best of New England will again be in attendance as the Mass Rivals will look to score their third championship of the spring, CBC will look to defend last year’s Memorial Day crown, BABC will look to prove their superiority in the u15 and u16 brackets, while a young and talented Expressions squad sets their sites on their first title of the spring, and the Rhode Island Hawks will look to defend their u16 Providence Jam Fest title. Also look out for Maine Athletic Club, MB Nation, Middlesex Magic, Metro Boston and many other of the region’s top local programs.
But the scope of this year’s Memorial Day Super 16 Showcase will be felt far beyond New England’s borders. In fact, the event will feature arguably this year’s two best grassroots teams from New York York City in New Heights and New Rens. Mid-Atlantic Select, New Jersey Elite, and Huntington Park Players are also traveling to bring multiple division I prospects into the field.
