South Kent Guard Picks Rider
South Kent post-graduate Zedric Sadler committed to Rider earlier today, becoming the fourth member of this year's South Kent team to earn a division I scholarship.
He joins Ricardo Ledo (Providence), Laimonas Chatkevicius (South Carolina), and Chris Ortiz (Kent State).
Sadler is a six-foot-two combo-guard who was referred to South Kent and head coach Kelvin Jefferson by the former Kansas State staff. During his year at South Kent, Sadler saw recruitment from the likes of Cleveland State, Duquense, and several other mid-major programs.
The Detroit, Michigan native is a physically gifted guard with good size, strength, and athletic ability. At Rider, he projects as a player who will be capable of playing a couple different positions and potentially becoming as good of a defensive player as he is an offensive threat.
