Snagg Secures D1 Opportunity
New Hampton School & Pro Level Titans forward Stephan Snagg recently announced his commitment to Binghamton.
Snagg began his NEPSAC career at Cheshire Academy in Class AA. He was a part of the Cats program led by head coach Jimmy McCarthy for two years.
During his only year at New Hampton in NEPSAC Class AAA, Snagg was an integral part of a 22 win Huskies team which made the 2023 AAA Semifinals.
He competed on the Zero Gravity XL circuit for Pro Level Titans. He earned All-Tournament honors at the 2021 Northeast Hoops Festival.
“Steph always had a growth mindset everyday he stepped in the gym,” said New Hampton head coach Andrew Gale. “He always brought a constant energy and excitement, which is what I think will help him compete right away at Binghamton.”
“Steph was always willing to do the little things that helped a team win. This was ultimately all he cared about which showed his selflessness.”
Snagg becomes the second member of New Hampton’s 2023 class who will be competing in Division One college basketball next season.
