Simonds is NESCAC Bound
Falmouth (ME) forward Jack Simonds is heading to Bowdoin College next year after his early decision application was recently accepted.
Simonds confirmed his decision via twitter on Thursday night.
The six-foot-five southpaw helped lead Falmouth to a state championship in his sophomore season, scoring 21 points in the championship game, and was a first team all-star in the state of Maine as a junior after averaging 16 points and 11 rebounds per game.
On the AAU circuit, Simonds is coming off a strong summer with the Maine Athletic Club, culminating with an 11th place finish at the AAU Nationals in Kentucky.
Known primarily for his ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line, Simonds has also worked to diversify his attack and will be a definite weapon on the offensive end of the floor for Bowdoin.
