Siena Lands Norwalk’s Parrish Edmond

Last week, Putnam Science and City Rocks 2026 wing Parrish Edmond announced his commitment to Siena College of the MAAC Conference.

Recently ranked number three in the updated NERR CT 2026 rankings, Edmond is a highly touted recruit who has continually improved over the years, becoming one of the top players in the state of Connecticut.

A staple for the Mustangs last season, Edmond was a driving force in their eventual national championship, which they won this past March. In the contest, the wing finished with 10 points, hauling in five rebounds and guarding multiple positions on the floor throughout the game.

Edmond brings a pretty complete skill set to the wing, one that caught the attention of a plethora of schools across the Division One landscape. His athleticism jumps off the page as he can get up to attack the rim off lobs or when driving himself, as well as play staunch defense.

His pull-up jumper has improved over the years and has become a good weapon that he brings to the table. He rises into shots quickly and creates as well with the way he can get right into his shooting pocket.

At Peach Jam, he played himself into several offers, averaging 11.8 points per game and grabbing 5.8 boards a contest alongside the likes of Lucas Morillo and co.

Before joining the Mustangs of Putnam Science, the Siena pledge played his high school basketball at Notre Dame Prep in Fairfield, Connecticut. There, he was a part of the squad that made a run to the final four of the 2024 CIAC tournament, losing to the eventual state champions of Notre Dame West Haven. In a double overtime thriller, Edmond contributed 22 points, trading dunks with Abdou Toure.

With another season left to play, Edmond looks to cap off his high school career with a bang.
