Shooting Touch Shootout Tips Today
The annual Shooting Touch Holiday Shootout tips today Saturday at Tufts University's Cousens Gym in Medford, Massachusetts.
The event tips off at 3:45p.m. as Central Catholic takes on Franklin. The following two games will both be broadcast live by CoxHub.com beginning with a 5:30p.m. match-up of Moses Brown (RI) vs. Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) followed by St. John's Prep against St. Anthony (NJ) at 7:15p.m.
The Shootout will continue with a Saturday double-header as Christian Brothers Academy returns to take on Brighton at 5:30p.m. St. Anthony meets Central Catholic at 7:15p.m. on Saturday.
This is the last year of the Shooting Touch Shootout and thus the last time that legendary high school coach Bob Hurley will be bringing his St. Anthony team to Boston for a potentially long time.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Shooting Touch Sabbatical program as well as their new G3 program, which is focusing on increasing basketball participation for girls in the city of Boston.
