Shooting Touch Announces Scholarship Program

Shooting Touch is announcing today the creation of the Chuck Kittredge Scholarship Fund in memoriam of Shooting Touch Co-Founder Justin Kittredge's beloved uncle Charles Kittredge who recently passed away this June.

Known as one of the best fundamental youth camps in the area, the Fund will provide (40) summer scholarships to Shooting Touch's Summer Kids Camp with legendary Hall of Fame Coach Bob Hurley fromJersey City, NJ. The scholarships will be available to 2nd-9th male and female youth from under-resourced communities in and around Massachusetts and enable them to attend the 4-day camp at Roxbury Latin in West Roxbury from 9am - 3pm July 13th - 17th at no cost.

In order to apply for the scholarship, please have all applicants compose a hand written letter describing why they want to come to this camp and what they hope to learn. All letters should be scanned or mailed and sent to hello@shootingtouch.com with "Camp Scholarship" in the subject line of the email. Eligible applicants must come from a household income of $50,000 or less to qualify or have gone thru a major family trauma.

Chuck Kittredge, a Springfield, Massachusetts native, was a epic basketball competitor who whole heartedly loved the game. As a coach, player and fan, Chuck will most certainly be smiling down knowing that his name is allowing for other children to love the game as much as he did.
