Shooting Touch, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization based in Boston, MA. The organization is based on the premise that basketball’s positive influence on the lives of children can make the world a better place.

Shooting Touch, Inc. has three goals: to help EDUCATE young people about life skills including setting and achieving goals; to MENTOR all players and give support whenever needed; and to COACH the fundamentals of basketball to improve individual confidence both on and off the court.

This spring and summer Shooting Touch has four major projects going on in the New England area.

Coach Hurley’s 2010 Kids Clinic

Legendary St. Anthony’s High School head coach Bob Hurley is set to return to New England for his second annual kids clinic.  This is an exclusive four day clinic for boys and girls in grades 3-8 to be held at the Roxbury Latin School on July 12th – 15th.

Weekly Clinics and Postseason Tune-Up

Each weekend, Shooting Touch hosts individual and group workouts for boys and girls at the Boston Athletic Club, focusing on fundamental training for players of all backgrounds, playing levels, and schools.  The goal is to improve each person on the court so they can therefore maximize who they are in all respects off the court.  The workouts not only include drills but also featuring strength and conditioning as well as guest speakers in the areas of nutrition, mental preparation, and life goals.
