Shittu Calls It
Vermont Academy senior forward Simisola Shittu announced his commitment to Vanderbilt on Wednesday via the Players Tribune.
Shittu is a Canadian native now in his second season competing in New England. He is the top ranked prospect in the New England 2018 rankings and also a top ten prospect in the country in the ESPN 100.

A true senior who only recently turned 18 years old, Shittu earned All-NEPSAC honorable mention last year in Class AA as he helped Vermont Academy advance to the semi-finals of the NEPSAC tournament. He joins Thornton Scott (William & Mary) and Daniel Schreier (Manhattan) to become the third member of VA's 2018 class to commit to a division I school.
This summer he put up 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in the Nike EYBL while running with CIA Bounce. Below are some of those highlights.
