September D3 Commitment Catch-Up

There have been a number of New England prospects who have committed to D3 programs over the past few months. In this article we will be highlighting a few of them. 

Liam Kennelly from Millbrook School & Rise Above Basketball will be playing at Tufts next year. The point guard is a terrific playmaker who constantly makes others better. 

Marcos Montiel from Brooks School & Prodigy Basketball committed to Colby. The shooting guard can hit shots at multiple levels while also providing some on ball playmaking value. 

Sam Andreottola from St. Paul’s School & New England Storm picked Carnegie Mellon. The power forward has inside/out scoring ability and is solid on the defensive glass. 

Will Groot from Hotchkiss School & Rens United committed to Johns Hopkins. The big man possesses a nice blend of post scoring, passing, and rebounding ability. 

Sam Hinman from St. Sebastian’s School & Middlesex Magic will be joining Montiel at Colby. The southpaw shooting guard has a quick trigger, making treys at a high volume off the catch or move.
