Selden at CP3 Camp
The CP3 Elite Guard Camp gets underway on Friday in Chris Paul’s hometown of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The camp, which is organized by reigning NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist Chris Paul, is an invite-only event for the top high school and collegiate points guards in the country to learn from arguably the best floor general in the world.
Tilton’s Wayne Selden was among the high school products selected to attend this year’s camp, which runs for four days and is sponsored by the Jordan Brand.
The camper field also includes some of the very best point guards the college game has to offer including Ryan Boatright (UConn), Trey Burke (Michigan), Phil Pressey (Missouri) and Seth Curry (Duke).
Incoming Boston University point guard Maurice Watson was also invited to the camp and expected to be in attendance on the college side.
Former campers include current NBA players Kawhi Leonard (Spurs), Nolan Smith (Blazers), Greivis Vasquez (Hornets), Stephen Curry (Warriors) and Kemba Walker (Bobcats).
