SCSU Scores Late with Warren
Hillhouse graduate Mekhi Warren announced a late commitment to Southern Connecticut State University on Tuesday.
The commitment not only gives Owls' head coach Scott Burrell a quality 11th hour addition but it also keeps Warren in his hometown for the next four years.
The Academics' forward took to his twitter account to announce the news.

Warren won a state championship as a junior and put up 14 points and nearly 12 rebounds along with 4 blocks per game this year as Hillhouse's only returning starter. He was was named first team All-SCC and New Haven Register All-Area in the process.
A 6-foot-5 forward, Warren plays much bigger than his actual size thanks to his length (6-foot-11 wingspan), athleticism, and motor. He's exceptionally quick off his feet as both a finisher and rebounder, allowing him to thrive against bigger players inside the paint, but has also made consistent strides with his face-up skill set within the last year.
