Santos UMass Bound
Woodstock Academy and Expressions Elite's Preston Santos announced his verbal commitment to UMass and head coach Matt McCall on Monday night.
The Rhode Island native began his career at Bishop Hendricken before winning consecutive NEPSAC championships at the Brooks School in recent years and now spending his final year at Woodstock Academy.
Santos is the second Woodstock Academy product to commit in as many days, after Darion Jordan Thomas' announcement on Sunday, and already the fifth player from the program's 2019 class to accept a division I offer.
He announced his decision with a video released on his twitter account.

At 6-foot-6, Santos brings both good positional size and athleticism to the wing along with an elastic body type that should eventually afford him increased versatility on the defensive end of the floor. While he's left-handed, he's also virtually amdixtrous with tremendous use of both hands in numerous facets of the game.
Santos had been an Expressions product throughout his high school years and was a swiss army knife for them in the recent EYBL campaign averaging 8 points and 4 rebounds per game while shooting 53% from the floor and being able to fill a variety of roles to help the team qualify for their latest trip to the EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam.
Below are some of his spring and summer highlights.
