Sanon and Erhunmwunse Top the Final 2024 Rankings
The summer has reached the midway point, and has maybe even surpassed that by a bit, but we felt it was time to finalize our 2024 rankings. Most of the Division One signees on the list have began workouts with their new team, so it is long overdue.
At the top of the ranking is the smooth scoring Arizona State signee, Joson Sanon, who just completed a great career at Vermont Academy winning the NEPSAC AAA title. Right behind him is his grassroots teammate and Providence signee, Oswin Erhunmwunse, who won the National Prep Championship last year and finished second this year with Putnam Science.
The third and fourth spots belong to Cincinnati's Tyler Betsey and Purdue's Daniel Jacobsen. Betsey caps off a great career in the state of Connecticut with his second straight Gatorade Player of the Year award at St. Thomas More, while Brewster's Jacobsen picked up a lot of steam late in the spring with Team USA, winning the gold medal with the U18 national team.
Kur Teng comes in fifth, as heads to Michigan State after winning the NEPSAC AA title with Bradford Christian. Two-time NEPSAC AA champion Kayvaun Mulready comes in sixth as his Worcester Academy squad took home the title twice in a row before this past season.
At the seventh spot is Texas A&M signee Andre Mills who put on a historic season with Brimmer & May this year, achieving over 2,000 points in his high school career. In the eighth spot is the New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year, Nojus Indrusaitis, who had a big year with Brewster Academy and heads to Iowa State.
Rounding out the top ten are George Turkson and Elijah Crawford. Turkson heads to Texas A&M after winning the NEPSAC AA this year, while Crawford will take his talents to BYU after a standout season at Brewster.
