Ryan Makes Debut in ESPN 60

New England Recruiting Report | Saturday, August 27th, 2016

Milton Academy guard Cormac Ryan made his first appearance in the national rankings earlier this week when ESPN announced their updated ESPN 60.

Ryan's debut came as the 54th overall ranked prospect in the class of 2018.

The 6-foot-5 guard has made consistent and rapid improvements since arriving in New England. His first appearance in the region came in the 2014 Elite 75 Frosh/Soph, when he still attended school in New York. He returned for the 2015 Stars of Tomorrow Camp and shortly afterwards landed his first division I offer from Penn.

He was one of the top performers at last year's Elite 75 Frosh/Soph as well, before exceeding all expectations during his first season at Milton Academy and earning his first high-major offer from Boston College in the process.

His most impressive work though has come in the last five months as he's starred with the Middlesex Magic. When the grassroots season began his size, skill level and feel for the game all stood out, but this summer he began to show an ability to take over games late and make big plays with the ball in his hands down the stretch.

His list of offers now includes the likes of Indiana, Michigan, Florida, Stanford, St. John's, Northwestern, DePaul, and Davidson among others.
