I have always been driven as a basketball player, and I believe my work ethic separates me from other players. This drive is what has gotten me to where I am today, and I don't plan to let up. I have a great feel for the game of basketball and I'm someone who is extremely coachable. My ball handling, quickness, and court vision are what makes me a true point guard. Also, I am crafty and not afraid to try new moves and finishes in the lane. I like to use my IQ to my advantage by communicating with my teammates and helping them to be successful. I play with a lot of heart and energy and am willing to work hard to continue to get better and be successful.

"James Tourin has the ability to see the floor very well. What he lacks in size he makes up for in determination. Pass first point guard which is rare nowadays. Has worked on his jump shot tremendously and can extend to NBA range. Has no problem guarding the team's best player and is one of only two players on my team that will sacrifice and take a charge. James has the ability to work through adverse situations without any negative feedback towards his teammates or coaches. Extremely coachable. Wants to make his teammates better. Anything you ask James to do he will apply."

Scouting Report
Tourin is true point guard who has a smooth and rhythmic handle, who sees the floor well, and can find people off the dribble. He's also a distributor, who doesn't need to be throwing just assists to move the basketball. He goes through the lane with sneaky length and is a clever finisher inside the paint. Tourin is also a competitive defender and two-way player. Physically, he's still just growing into his body so his game should continue to evolve with his frame, especially given his work-ethic.
