Rhode Island’s Top Five Juniors

With the weekend hiatus in state tournament action, it is time to revisit our updated rankings in the class of 2013.  Up next is the state of Rhode Island, who boasts a relatively strong junior class.

At the top of the list is St. Raphael's scoring lead guard Charles Correa, who has continued to put up big numbers this season as a junior while showing his complete offensive arsenal.

Speaking of big numbers, Barrington High School's Ben Engvall has been turning some heads this season and moves up to our second spot in the Rhode Island rankings.

Right behind him at number three is LaSalle Academy guard Tom Hunt, who has shown a diversified game with his ability to get into the lane starting to match his shot-making ability from beyond the arc.

Another sharp-shooter is the state's fourth ranked player and that's Bishop Hendricken swingman Lee Messier who is a guy who could fly up this list given a strong spring AAU season.

Rounding out the state's top five is Prout School's six-foot-six big man Justin Bristol, a powerful interior force who is like a man among boys in local RIIL competition.
