Reyes Makes the Call
Cushing Academy and Expressions Elite senior Alexis Reyes announced his commitment to East Carolina on Tuesday.
Reyes is a big wing who has been a high-profile local prospect since he first arrived at the high school level.
He's seen wide-ranging recruitment over the years including offers from schools in the Big East, Big Ten, and Atlantic Ten.
"Alexis has been in the Expressions family since the 6th grade," said Expressions Elite director Todd Quarles. "He is very hard-working and a great teammate. He has a textbook jumper and will be a big time shooter in college. He is a great kid from a good family. We are excited to see him commit to East Carolina."
"Alexis has all the tools to have a very special college career and beyond," said Cushing head coach James Cormier. "The combination of size, skill and feel will allow him to impact winning at ECU immediately. We look forward to following a successful and exciting future for Lex!"
Reyes will join a couple other local New England products with the Pirates including former Dexter big man Charles Colemand and George Wright-Easy, who is an assistant coach with the program.
