Recruiting News & Notes

New England Recruiting Report | Friday, April 5th, 2013

Every week ESPN.com releases a list of recruiting news and notes that have happened within the last seven days within the northeast region.  Last week’s report featured several items relating to New England prospects including analysis of recent commitments by Duane Notice, Matt Atewe, Rich Williams, Denzel Gregg, and Jayde Dawson.  

Here’s a look at some of the other news and notes:

• Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) forward Josh Hearlihy took a visit to Tulane over the weekend.  He had previously visited George Washington and was previously committed to Utah in the class of 2012;

• Worcester Academy (MA) post-graduate Darryl Reynolds has added new high-major offers and trimmed his list to four.  He visited South Carolina last week and now has trips scheduled to Villanova and Seton Hall.  Utah is also under consideration;

• Boston University hosted Milton Academy (MA) 2014 PF Alec Brennan for an unofficial visit last week.  Brennan holds multiple high-major scholarship offers and has already visited Purdue, Illinois, Stanford, and Boston College unofficially;

• Brewster Academy (NH) 2014 SG Jared Terrell landed his second scholarship offer in as many weeks, this time from Marquette.  Buzz Williams’ club joins Xavier, who offered Terrell last week.  Cincinnati has also offered.
