Quinnipiac Lands Akot
Quinnipiac has been hit by the transfer bug this spring losing both Rich Kelly and Kevin Marfo, their starting point guard and center respectively.
Those losses created a need for immediate reinforcements and earlier this week the Bobcats landed an important one in Proctor Academy and DC Blue Devils Bol Akot.
Akot took to his twitter account to announce his decision.

Akot has been one of the top point guards in New England's class of 2020 throughout his four years of high school and has been widely recruited the entire time. He even won the MVP award of the prestigious Deng Camp this summer.
A true point guard who has always had one of the tightest handles in New England, he's developed a jumper that is now equally potent. That well-rounded skill-set, along with his instinctive playmaking instincts should allow him to contend for immediate minutes, and potentially even a starting job, under head coach Baker Dunleavy.
Below are highlights from his senior season.
