Prospect Profile - Cinque Robinson
Cinque Robinson didn't even start playing basketball until just before high school and has only been visible on the AAU circuit for the last two years.
Following his graduation, the Lindenhurst, New York native was determined to pursue opportunities to take his game to the college level and so he opted for a post-grad year at the Storm King School, where he could continue to develop his game.
He did just that over the course of the last nine months, becoming an immediately key piece for a team that went 18-6 and returned to the NEPSAC Class C semifinals.
Now, he's getting recruiting by Herkimer County Community College and SUNY Ulster, but is looking for a four-year division III school.

Personal Statement
I started playing basketball at a late age (14) but have come a long way in the game. The past year I took a post-grad year to further my academics and skills in basketball, on and off the court. I started every game and gave 100% on both ends of the court. You will never have to question my hustle and energy as seen in my highlight tape.
Recommendations
"Cinque is a long, flexible wing forward. He started every game for us this year, and led the team in offensive boards and blocked shots. He is quick end-to-end and finishes above the rim. His shooting improved greatly throughout the season, including his ability to make the corner three. His greatest asset on the court is his ability to move his feet on defense and defend multiple positions. Off the court, Cinque is humble and team-oriented. Based on his athletic skills and his work ethic, he projects as a Division III level collegiate contributor with a great upside."
- Al Lewis, Head Coach, Storm King School
"Cinque is an extremely athletic forward with great defensive instincts. He is a high intensity player with a strong motor. Cinque is not afraid to get his hands dirty making 50/50 plays that can help decide a game. On offense he has good hands around the basket, excelling in pick and roll action. Cinque displays a strong work ethic and a willingness to continue to improve. Cinque is a sponge and continues to improve on his game. He will be an asset to any team he plays on. As a coach I have never asked him to play hard, his hustle on the court leads by example."

Scouting Report
Robinson is mobile and strong with a high-motor and a frame that should only continue to expand in a college weight room. He plays bigger than his listed size around the rim on both ends of the floor and has positional versatility because he can defend potentially all three frontcourt spots. He has an excellent nose for the ball and is a constant threat to get blocks, steals, deflections, and win 50/50 balls. He runs the floor well, finishes with dexterity around the rim, has soft hands, and continues to extend his skill-set as he remains still relatively new to the game. Ultimately, he's a low-risk high-reward type prospect for college programs because there just aren't many high-motor, high-character players with size out there who are committed to developing their games.
