Power & Jackson Lead Final New England 2023 Rankings
We will now be releasing the final rankings of New England’s 2023 class.
TJ Power from Worcester Academy and Elmarko Jackson from South Kent School earned the top two spots. Power, headed to Duke, stuffed the sheet en route to Worcester winning a NEPSAC Class AA Title. Jackson, bound for Kansas, led South Kent to a NEPSAC Class AAA Title with his impressive two-way game.
The Brewster Academy duo of Solomon Ball and Carey Booth come in at three and four. Ball, on his way to UConn, earned ALL-NEPSAC Class AAA honors from his standout season. Booth, committed to Notre Dame, oozes with upside from his age, athleticism, and floor spacing ability.
Gavin Griffiths from Kingswood-Oxford and Papa Kante from South Kent are next at five and six. Griffiths, headed to Rutgers, proved to arguably be the purest shooter in this class. Kante, who recently reopened his recruitment, held it down inside for South Kent during their memorable 32 win season.
JP Estrella from Brewster and Tre Norman from Worcester Academy earned the seventh and eighth spots. Estrella, bound for Tennessee, made a smooth transition to AAA and earned ALL-NEPSAC Honorable Mention honors. Norman, headed to Marquette, used his will to win time and time again in key moments during Worcester’s outstanding year.
Reid Ducharme from Brewster and Mouhamed Dioubate from Putnam Science Academy round out the top ten. Ducharme, playing next year at Xavier, was a reliable scoring threat on the wing in AAA. Dioubate, on his way to Alabama, won MVP honors during PSA’s National Prep Championship run.
