Pierrer Makes Decision

When the New England Recruiting Report caught up with Christian Heritage guard Jason Perrier last night at the Connecticut Skills Academy he was still mulling his college options.

A few hours later, things had changed.

“I verballed to Assumption College,” Perrier said by text.

Perrier landed the scholarship offer early last summer by standing out at Hoop Mountain’s Super Week I camp.  The six-foot-three guard opted to play out the rest of the summer and the fall, but finally came to a decision on Thursday night.

“It felt right to me,” Perrier said.  “I love the school and coaches there so it was a good fit.  They have a part of my major so that’s always a good thing and the advice from my coaches also helped as well.”

Perrier is a power guard with all of the strength and athleticism to be very productive at the college level.  He’s taken his game to new levels within the last six months by learning to better utilize his physical tools to get to the rim and becoming more consistent with his perimeter jumper.

Perrier is entering his senior season at Christian Heritage where he has been one of the pillars of the program for the last three years.
