Patenaude Makes His Choice

New England Recruiting Report | Tuesday, December 6th, 2016

Concord-Carlisle High School and Mass Elite 6-foot-2 swingman Spencer Patendaude has committed to Denison University.

Patenaude helped lead Concord Carlisle to an MIAA state championship as a junior before joining Mass Elite last spring and going on to see recruitment from nearly 20 division III colleges and universities from across the country including the likes of Kenyon, Franklin & Marshall, and Connecticut College among others.

He had an especially good outing at the All-Academic Camp, earning Player of the Game honors on Thursday, and followed that up with more strong showings during the NCAA evaluation period in the remainder of July.

"Spencer defines what it means to be a student-athlete," Mass Elite head coach and program director Eric Polli said.  "He gets it done both on the court and more importantly in the classroom. He is a tremendous shooter and has a very high basketball IQ. He was one of our most highly recruited seniors for a reason. The kid flat out knows how to play"

Below are some of his highlights from the All-Academic Camp:
