O’Sullivan to the Ivy League

On the morning of April 24, Class of 2025 forward/center Charlie O’Sullivan announced his commitment to Brown University, thanking his family, coaches and friends for their support throughout the journey.

The 6-foot-11 forward from Loomis Chaffee is coming off a 2024–25 season in which he earned both Class A All-NEPSAC honors and first-team all-conference recognition in the Founders League.

O’Sullivan finished the season in dominant fashion, averaging nearly 17 points and nine rebounds while shooting 41% from 3-point range over his final 10 games. He led Loomis Chaffee to a 17–8 regular-season record.

In January at the Prep National Championship, O’Sullivan stood out among the Class of 2025 players in attendance. Against St. Andrew’s, he poured in 26 points and six 3-pointers, along with 10 rebounds.

O’Sullivan began his high school career at Fordham Prep as a smaller wing, impressing with his deep shooting ability and playmaking skills. Over time, he has developed into a more versatile, lengthier player who can impact the game in multiple ways.

Even at the forward position, O’Sullivan is comfortable putting the ball on the floor and attacking the basket. He maintains his smooth shooting form from deep and can knock down shots off the catch or the bounce.

He will join a Brown University basketball team coming off a 14–13 season, which placed them near the bottom of the Ivy League. O’Sullivan will have an opportunity to pair his versatile scoring ability with a program led primarily by guard play.
