Noel Returns to 2012

Nerlens Noel is heading to college next year.

The Everett, Massachusetts native told ESPN.com's Dave Telep on Wednesdady that he would rejoin his original class of 2012 and begin to take his five allowed official visits before choosing a school for next fall.

Noel has already taken unofficial visits to Providence and Connecticut and has his next trip in the books as well with a February 11th game on tap between Connecticut and Syracuse at the Carrier Dome.

Following his trip to Syracuse, Noel told Telep he will also visit North Carolina, Georgetown, Florida, and Kentucky while still considering the two local schools.

Noel was ranked as the second overall prospect in the ESPNU Super 60 but is likely to move right into the top spot in the class of 2012.  In New England, he debuts atop New Hampshire's class of 2012.

Noel is the fourth New England prospect to "de-classify" in the last year, following in the footsteps of Khem Birch, Alex Murphy, and Andre Drummond
