NMH’s Sechan Makes Pick

Northfield Mount Hermon senior guard Jordan Sechan will continue his basketball career at Bucknell University next year, where he'll join the Bison program as a recruited walk-on.

A Connecticut native, Sechan previously starred at St. Luke's School in New Canaan before joining NMH for the 2015-2016 academic year.

He was a valualable piece of last year's AAA championship team and a player whom NMH head coach John Carroll credits for being among the most valuable in his locker room.

"Jordan is a culture carrier," Carroll explained. "He embodies everything that is important to the culture of NMH basketball. Bucknell is getting a player that is going to go all-in on the Bucknell culture and will carry that standard every day he is associated with the Bison program!"

Sechan also brings additional value on the floor as he's made notable improvements in his game over the course of the last year and even saw time on the EYBL circuit this past spring and summer with the New York Lightning.

Sechan is the 7th and final member of NMH's 2017 class to finalize his recruitment with the group now heading off to North Carolina, Davidson, Princeton, Brown, Northeastern, Quinnipiac and Bucknell.

Below are recent highlights of Sechan care of NERR-TV.
