NJIT Lands SK’s Brinson

New Jersey Institute of Technology came into the New England prep ranks and scored a steal following the official visit and subsequent commitment of South Kent's San Antonio Brinson.

Brinson confirmed his commitment via his twitter account on Saturday night:

He is the fourth player to commit to the Highlanders in the class of 2017 and second from the state of Georgia.

A 6-foot-7 forward, Brinson is a high level athlete who is extremely fluid and able to play high above the rim. He's going to score in transition, be a constant threat around the rim and on the offensive glass, able to straight line drive past less mobile forwards and definitely has his best basketball still in front of him.

Brinson was receiving some early interest from Georgia Tech and was bound to see his recruitment escalate over the course of the coming months, but instead he now gives NJIT a player who should be capable of making an immediate impact and evolving into a key part of their foundation in the years to come.

Below are some video highlights of Brinson prior to his arrival at the South Kent School.
