NERR Prep Tour Set to Begin
Labor Day weekend serves as the unofficial move-in period for a variety of prep schools throughout New England, and with virtually everyone now back in school it means that it is again time for the New England Recruiting Report to begin traveling throughout the region in order to provide previews for all of the top prep school programs.
While college coaches won’t be permitted to attend workouts until the NCAA contact period officially begins on Sunday, many programs have already begun working out in preparation for those visiting coaches and that means we’ll be getting a head start as we’ll begin traveling to various open gyms begin this week.
Our annual Prep Profile series will preview all of the top programs from Class AAA and Class AA of the NEPSAC in addition to a select few other particularly strong programs from around the region. After traveling to each of those individual schools, we’ll then preview all six NEPSAC classes later this fall.
Of course, our focus on the prep schools will only account for a fraction of NERR’s fall coverage as we’ll also be previewing the local high school ranks in all six New England states while also continuing to bring you the most up-to-date, informed, and unbiased coverage of local exposure events beginning with the Elite 75 Showcase – Frosh/Soph Edition on September 15th and the Hoop Mountain Fall Classic on September 21st.
