NERR Announces Memorial Day Invitational
The first ever Memorial Day Invitational is on tap for this weekend at Connecticut College and boasts a roster of some of the northeast’s premier grassroots programs.
A small and selective field was picked on an invite only basis to allow for maximum competition throughout the weekend and optimum coverage from the New England Recruiting Report, ESPN, and the other media outlets on hand.
The loaded u17 bracket is especially noteworthy with sixteen teams vying for Sunday’s championship including local powerhouses like the New England Playaz, Connecticut Basketball Club, Mass Rivals, Metro Boston, MB Nation, and Maine Mac. The visiting teams from outside our region’s borders is perhaps even stronger with programs like New Heights, Long Island Lightning, Hoop Heaven Heat Elite, Mid-Atlantic Select, Juice All-Stars, Raising Champions, Team Philly Elite, Players Teaching Players, and Riverside Church all making the trip.
The u16 and u15 brackets are equally talent laden with Expressions Elite, New England Playaz, Connecticut Basketball Club, Connecticut Select, MB Nation, Team New Jersey Elite, Riverside Church, Metro Boston, Boston Spartans and others.
