Sunday, March 3rd @ Endicott College
1:00pm – Class A Final: #1 Phillips Exeter Academy vs. #2 Choate Rosemary Hall
3:00pm – Class AA Final: #2 Cushing Academy vs. #8 St. Andrew’s School
5:00pm – Class AAA Final: #1 St. Thomas More Schools vs. #3 Brewster Academy

Championship Sunday will get underway at Endicott College with a 1pm match-up for the Class A championship.  Top seeded Phillips Exeter ran away with their semifinal match-up against Milton Academy, 60-35, while Choate survived Trinity Pawling, 66-60, to advance to the final.  

The Groton School played host to the AA semifinals on Friday night.  The opener saw St. Andrew’s score their second consecutive upset, knocking off 5th seeded Tilton by only a single point, 67-66.  Cushing Academy held on against 3rd seeded Kimball Union Academy in the nightcap, advancing with a 62-52 decision.  

The AAA semifinals were held at Endicott College on Friday night.  St. Thomas More pulled away from 4th seeded New Hampton, who had earned a hard fought win over South Kent just a night earlier, and ultimately won 71-53.  The Brewster vs. NMH match-up was a rematch of last year’s semifinal, but this year it was Brewster that scored the close win, 61-57.

11:30am – Class D Final: #1 Hoosac vs. Chase/CHCD
1:30pm – Class C Final: #1 Greens Farms Academy vs. #3 Pingree School
3:30pm – Class B Final: #1 Suffield Academy vs. #6 Canterbury School

NEPSAC will hold three other championship games at Worcester Academy on Sunday in classes B, C, and D.  The Class D final will open up at 11:30am with top seeded Hoosac, who knocked off Boston Trinity in Friday’s semi, taking on the winner of Chase Collegiate and Chapel Hill Chauncey Hall.  

The Class C final will tip at 1:30pm with Greens Farms Academy going up against Pingree School.  GFA held off Hyde School 62-50 on Friday night while Pingree earned their ticket to the finals with a win over Wheeler 63-52.  

The nightcap will feature top seeded Suffield Academy facing 6th seeded Canterbury School in the Class B final at 3:30p.m.  Suffield defeated Brooks 53-44 on Friday night while Canterbury knocked off Nobles 76-65.
