NEBL debuts this weekend

The New England Basketball League (NEBL) is set to debut this weekend and is designed to feature the region's top ten prep programs regardless of league affiliation.

Brewster Academy, Bridgton Academy, Cushing Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon School, New Hampton School, Putnam Science Academy, South Kent School, St. Thomas More School, Woodstock Academy, and Vermont Academy will all compete.

Collectively, these ten programs have accounted for nine of the last ten National Prep Champions, every NEPSAC AAA championship since conference realignment, and one NEPSAC AA championship.

The league was set to debut at last weekend's HoopHall Prep Showcase but was delayed a week because of covid protocols and will now tip this coming weekend at Northfield Mount Hermon. Session two will take place at Brewster Aca
