NE Hoop Fest Preview
Annually one of the top fall tournaments in the northeast, the New England Hoop Festival presented by Zero Gravity will feature some of the best teams New England has to offer. This event specifically attracts strong programs from the region, and Championship Sunday should be electric this weekend. The Varsity division will come down to the wire. Middlesex Magic, New England Playaz & Mass Rivals will be the teams to beat. But Wrightway Skills is not to be tossed away, nor are Beantown Bulls, Bay State Flash, Boston Warriors, BABC City, Mig's Team, NE Blizz, or Team Saints. Evolution may be the team to watch here, though. They have strung together several impressive weekends in a row, and are peaking at the right time in the fall.
The 10th grade division has seen its fair share of talent so far on the ZG Fall Circuit. BABC has impressed every time they've taken the court. Middlesex Magic will be looking to take aim at the title in their first appearance on the ZG Fall Circuit. Expressions, Mass Rivals & New England Playaz can never be counted out, either. Boston Bobcats, Mass Elite, Rise Above & RI Elite will not go quietly, as this has the potential to be the deepest bracket of the tournament.
The 9th grade division has seen a lot of talent come through the ZG doors, as well, and this weekend will be no different. Boston Bobcats are coming off an impressive showing, and BABC & Mass Rivals have been strong all season. Expressions & Cobras are planning for a big weekend, too. Also look for Cape Cod Bulls, Framingham Express, RI Elite, Middlesex Magic & Central Mass Swarm to compete all weekend.
