Mosquera Earns Scholarship
Belmont Hill and Middlesex Magic's Trent Mosquera announced his commitment to Le Moyne on Tuesday night, accepting a full athletic scholarship offer from the division II school.
Mosquera is a highly talented offensive player who can score the ball and make plays in a variety of ways. He's also a mismatch problem who can play multiple positions and be productive on a variety of different places on the floor.
He's come up the ranks with the Magic program, having suited up with them for the last four years.
"Trent possesses one of the highest basketball IQs of anyone I have ever coached," said Magic director Michael Crotty Jr. "He sees how plays will develop very early, and has a remarkable ability to create for himself and others. Trent has great positional size on the wing and with long arms, huge hands, and his athletic ability, he is also a terrific rebounder."
"Coach Champion and his staff at Le Moyne recruited Trent really hard and I believe they are getting someone who will impact their program immediately and have the chance to be an all-league player."
Mosquera is the 9th member of the Magic's 2022 class to finalize his recruitment and the 5th to commit to a scholarship level school.
