Morgan Picks Seton Hall
We told you last week that Jesse Morgan’s recruitment was starting to pick up in a big way with recent offers from Louisville and Rutgers in addition to a pending visit to UConn.
This weekend Morgan visited Seton Hall, who had already been on him hard for quite a while. On Monday, a day after returning to South Kent, Morgan pulled the trigger and committed to the Pirates.
SNY’s Adam Zagoria broke the story on his blog.
“I committed about 45 minutes ago,” Morgan told Zagoria on Monday. “I’m just happy to be a Pirate.
Morgan, a super versatile at six-foot-five, can play and defend all three perimeter positions. He’s a good shooter from the perimeter, a much improved dribble driver, and a capable distributor and facilitator.
Seton Hall head coach Bobby Gonzalez and assistant Dermon Player began recruiting Morgan this summer and likely have a steal on their hands as Morgan’s recruitment no doubt would have continued to grow had it lasted to South Kent’s regular season.
