More Visits for Goodluck

With one official visit in the books Goodluck Okonoboh is preparing for double duty this weekend as he’ll travel to both Ohio State and UNLV after seeing Indiana last weekend.

Ohio State head coach Thad Matta was on the Wilbraham & Monson campus on Wednesday along with UNLV assistant coach Heath Schroyer.

Okonoboh is coming off what he described as a “great” visit to Indiana in which he spent time with both his former Mass Rivals teammate Noah Vonleh as well as Victor Oladipo, who was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 5th pick in last year’s draft after two seasons at Indiana.

Florida and Duke also remain in the mix although dates have not yet been finalized to visit either campus.
While no official timetable has been set for his decision, things appear to now be progressing at a fairly rapid rate with a potential conclusion seeming likely in the coming weeks.

Okonoboh is not only one of the best available prospects left in the country but also widely considered to be one of the nation’s best shot-blockers.

He trimmed his list to five schools following the conclusion of the July evaluation period which resulted in a plethora of high-major scholarship offers ranging from every major league in college basketball.
